Citizen Girls! A Social Justice Book Club Tickets
Sep 22 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Today’s teenage girls are tomorrow’s world citizens, voters, and activists! Through education and inspiration, girls can be empowered, informed, and confident. We invite all teenage girls to join our monthly book club that tackles tough subjects like women’s rights, immigration, civil rights, the environment, and much more, in a safe space that is open for dialogue. Readers will interact with guest moderators, politicians, and community advocates, plus have opportunities to connect through art and activism.

All girls ages 13-17 are welcome.

For more information or to join the group, contact Eileen Yanoviak at 502-634-2719 or eyanoviak@speedmuseum.org.

General admission to the Speed Art Museum is free on Owsley Free Sundays. Books can be supplied to those in need.

This event repeats the 4th Sunday of each month. *May not* meet during the holidays (Nov. and Dec.) but check link below for details.
